Der VC-1-DMX erzeugt automatische Steuerbefehle für dein DMX-Lichtsetup auf Basis eingehender Video- und Audioquellen und benötigt dafür keinen eigenen Lichtoperator. Je nach eingehendem Videobild ändern sich die Farbe und die Helligkeit, während Scheinwerfer und Spiegelkugeln synchron zum Tempo der Musik agieren. Wer tiefer in die Möglichkeiten des VC-1-DMX eintauchen möchte, kann auf die externe MIDI-Bedienung zurückgreifen und den Konverter über Hardware-Steuerungsoberflächen, elektronische Musikinstrumente und Computer-Produktionssoftware ansteuern.
